Established as a cornerstone of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s national leadership initiatives from 2015 to 2025, the Interdisciplinary Research Leaders (IRL) program aimed to cultivate a diverse cohort of interdisciplinary leaders conducting action-oriented, community-driven health research. Through teams consisting of two researchers from different disciplines and one community leader, we sought to drive systemic improvements in community health and advance towards “a culture of health.”
This platform serves as a historical repository for all participants of the program. This website is dedicated to documenting the milestones achieved throughout this decade-long initiative and facilitating the dissemination of replicable outcomes, evidence-based methodologies, and innovative scholarly contributions to the wider professional community.
